Hollywood personality, executive producer and host of KCAA’s “Talking with Wendell.” Wendell James is a rising star. His unique style along with his fun but blunt personality is a hit in Hollywood. Everyone wants to know Wendell! Born in Warren Ohio, it was obvious that this town could never hold him. He had too much style and personality. James decided that California was the perfect place and that is where his journey began. Wendell took his wild and zany personality to red carpet where he began hosting and interviewing for his show “Talking with Wendell”. From the red carpet James interview everyone. In March of 2007, the Talking with Wendell show hit the airwaves! James was added to the KCAA 1050 AM family of radio broadcasters. The show both entertaining and informative airs live every Saturday from 2:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. And covers the Riverside and San Bernardino counties while streaming live on the web. James addresses hot topics in the news and in the community as well as what’s going on in Hollywood. His impressive list of celebrity guest and professionals include Loretta Devine, Pat Boone, Omarosa, Dr. Cornel West, Alfre Woodard, Niecy Nash, Dr. David Kampt, Actress Kym E. Whitley and Sheryl Lee Ralph to name a few.
James has landed roles on shows such as Will & Grace, Afro City, Home James, My Sweet Sixteen and Breaking the Band. He even hit the theatre circuit as cast member in the long-running, GLAAD nominated Off-Broadway play “Sex, Relationships and Sometimes Love”, while being in production as cast member of the new reality show “Dolls House”. Wendell has been featured in several magazines for his style and humanitarian efforts. Wendell has also been the official red carpet host for DIVAS Simply Singing musical concert benefiting the fight against HIV/AIDS for four consecutive years.
